Introducing: Star-Crossed Mitts, a new pattern from Nice and Knit and available for purchase on Ravelry!
These are a quick fingerless mitt made with a worsted weight yarn on a size 7. The pattern includes charts for the colorwork so experience working with a chart is recommended. They’re warm and squishy and offer a nice snug fit to keep your hands warm.
I like fingerless mitts because I can still text, use the phone and do all the other little things that require the use of your fingers. Pulling mitts on and off when you’re running errands can be a pain and let’s face it, that’s how one of them always gets lost.
I hope you enjoy this pattern and please feel free to email with any questions!
Another special thanks to Sarah for test knitting these for me!

Congrats on your new pattern! So very EXCITING! They are very pretty!
Awesome! Kee I love the colors in the orange and brown one, they look so good.
those mitts are gorgeous!! I love both colour combos.
Hi, these mitts look great! How much yardage is needed for each colour? I’ve got lots of leftover bits of Tosh Vintage, I was just wondering if I have enough.
Thanks :-)
I’m glad you like them! I think they’ll take about 100 yards of each at the most. I had a skein of each and still had at least 1/2 left when the mitts were done! Worst case you could use a different contrasting color for the backside and inside designs!
