I’m still working on unique ways of incorporating my knitting through my house. It opens a whole new world of ideas. Here’s my latest:

‘cuse the ceiling fan! It’s pretty impossible to get a picture without it in there.

I knit up a super quick scarf using Trendsetter Cha Cha. I’m not a huge fan of these as scarves – just not my style, but I loved the idea of using it for a wreath. Once the knitting was complete I sewed the two ends together to make a closed loop and then laid it out on a wreath form. Originally I had done this on flat wreath form and it didn’t work at all, so I recommend a curved form.

I simply hot-glued the scarf to the form and then knit up another really simple scarf of just stockinette stitch. For this I used Nashua Handknits Paradise Yarn.  Total project time was no more than 3-4 hours.

I’m also making some good progress on my Business Casual socks. I’m totally sold on the Magic Loop method! I’m not having any issues with ‘ladders’ forming like I do with double pointed needles and it makes the process much more relaxing for me.  I very quickly get frustrated when I see uneven knitting on the dp needles. I am also really enjoying this pattern. It’s simple & easy to memorize and moves pretty quickly – the key ingredients to keeping me interested!
