I’ve been working on this one for awhile now and I’m very excited to be done with her.
The giraffe pattern comes from Itty-Bitty Toys which is chuck full of really adorable creatures. Check it out on Ravelry. For the giraffe, each piece was not difficult, but it is made up of a lot of little pieces and a lot of sewing it all together. It turned out to be pretty time consuming. I’m glad I had a deadline to work with or I might have given it up!
I think she’s very sweet but needs a name so I stop calling her “big Bertha”, Ideas? The book is called Itty Bitty Toys, but Bertha is not so Itty Bitty. She’s 15″ tall and 12″ wide.
My husband’s aunt is giving this as a baby shower gift. I hope she and the recipient are both happy with the outcome!
It came out so good! Just like the book. Susies Q is a good name.
She makes me think her name should be Beatrice. She is really quite cute!! The spots really make it. I think she would look cute with a little heart on the front of her.
