A great friend of our family recently gave me a very thoughtful gift. I can take it with me in my purse everywhere so I am always prepared for knitting. It is called the Knit Kit. A compact tool with a yarn cutter, stitch counter, crochet hook, scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle and yarn holder all included!

Last night my family came over for dinner and we were able to all knit together now that Betsy joined in the craziness. Now when we talk gauge, yarn, and designs she joins right in! Mom is knitting a vest, Kara socks, Colleen a scarf, Betsy and Melinda an afghan and I am still working on Brandon’s sweater.
It is fun to be able to share hobbies with your family. Enjoy the beautiful weather this week in New England….70′s!
