My camera is on loan this weekend so I am rocking the iPhone pics.
I mastered a new stitch pattern and I’m in love. I swatched this up earlier this week, it went very fast and was a lot of fun to work with. I am working on the full piece now and there’s a tight deadline to it, so you’ll see more of this soon. I’ll also post a how-to with the finished piece!
The colors, the texture, everything about it reminds me of a vintage quilt, or something you might see at Anthropologie.
A recent sale at my LYS has inspired a bunch of projects, so I have cast on several over the past week. I scooped up some Spud & Chloë and oooh la la I really like their yarn! I am working with their Sweater line which is a worsted weight. On a size 7 this knits up quick and it feels so soft and sweet.
I’ve had a lot going on this week which hasn’t left me nearly as much time as I’d like for knitting, but I am hoping this weekend offers a little more free time to squeeze some in. Just gotta plant the vegetable garden first!

Kara, I love that first one and it is going to be awesome for the purpose you are knitting it for. Love it!
I love that new stitch pattern swatch. It does remind me of Anthro! Can’t wait to see the finished product.
I’m using Spud and Chloe (sock weight) on a summer tee now. It knits nice, but I’ve decided the texture is too plain jane for me. Love your stitch pattern!
That first sample is so cool! I’m excited
to see the tutorial!
