Happy 4th of July!  We had an impromptu get together at our house last night, complete with a festive dessert – Thanks, Katie!

P.S. The Jell-O cheesecake mix is deee-lish.

I tested the limits of my new camera and I’m thrilled.  After dessert we headed down the hill to the fireworks. It was 9pm, it was dark and I had no flash. But I still got these pictures. Yup, they’re a little grainy if you zoom in…so don’t. But if you had seen the light (or lack thereof) that I was working with, you’d be impressed.
