We had a fun fourth of July, a picnic with lobsters is always a real treat!
Darren is at the stage where he can not find his real smile when the camera is pointed his way, but he is always willing to have his picture taken!
He was all about cooking the lobsters…until it was time to actually drop them in.
This week I was also able to paint our front doors, they have needed a fresh coat of paint for awhile, and I decided it was time for a new look.
Originally I had thought of using Hale Navy, but at the last minute I changed to Newburyport Blue (My boys talked me into it). It is much lighter and more blue than the Hale Navy. I think I really like it.
Today I am knitting with grandma while the boys swim with their cousins. I am hoping to finish my Strafford Tee today.

Sounds like the perfect picnic to me!! Wish I had known might have made the trip out there just for the lobster :) LOVE the color of the front door, I think it looks better than the navy would have.
I really like the color of the doors. Really changes the whole look. There was nothing wrong with the brown, but the blue looks so New Englandish (not sure that is a word but for the comments, I just made it one!)
Love the doors definately Cape Cod and not Williamsburg!
