A trip to WEBS always does a yarn stash good. I picked up a some yarn for a sweater I fell in love with the Terra Linda Cardigan pattern in the fall issue of Knitscene and I’ve been thinking about it for weeks. I picked up what I think is the perfect yarn for it.
The pattern…on Ravelry here.
Looking forward to casting this on in preparation for something we’ll be talking about next week!
…And because when I go to a yarn shop, I can’t walk out with just one thing – I also picked up a few skeins for baby projects.
Madelinetosh – Lowland to make the baby pea pod.
Madelinetosh Terra to make Idon’tknowwhat
and Madelinetosh Bark to make another Idon’tknowwhat…maybe a little hat and mits or something. Suggestions always welcomed!

I am making Lintilla, a ruffled scarf out of Madelinetosh Terra. It is really beautiful! I am trying to finish before winter. . .the fingering yarn and tiny needles make it slow going!
Ooh I love yarn store shopping trips. There’s nothing better. My hand is finally starting to feel better after my over-knitting injury…hoping to pick the needles back up this weekend and see how it goes. Fingers crossed. Such lovely yarn you picked out!
That pea pod is so cute! If I follow too closely with what you’re making for mini stanley, I might be tempted to have more babies! :0 And I love the yarn for it.
Hi Kara, I just wonder where WEBS is. I don’t think I ever heard of it but looks like some place I’d enjoy visiting some day :) I love the yarns you picked up there.
Hi Donna! WEBS is in North Hampton, MA. If you’ve ever been on http://www.yarn.com this is the brick & mortar store associated with it. It’s definitely worth the trip up there in my opinion, especially since we live so close.
Thank you, Kara. I will have to check it out sometime. BTW, the baby peapod is adorable!!
