Not too many words today, just enough to thank everyone for the kind words and congratulations. We are a blessed little family. Brooklyn Paige is a dream. She is as sweet as can be. She spends her days sleeping and eating and eating and sleeping. She is so peaceful and precious and loved by soooo many! Here are just a few pictures from the past 5 days we’ve been able to enjoy our little one.
Great Grandma Gerber made us this beautiful pink hearts blanket. Brooklyn loves to be swaddled up in it.
Great Grandma Midge came too. She brought us a knit hat and mittens that don’t quite fit us yet but when they do, we’ll be sure to get a good photoshoot in.
Someone looks pretty happy to meet his first Grandchild, don’t you think?
And even though it’s his 12th grandchild, he looks just as happy!
When they brought Brooklyn back from the hospital Nursery, she came in this knitted hat! I thought it was so sweet. In my head I was picturing some kind grandma somewhere knitting hats for the babies in the hospital. I’d like to repay the favor. Anyone want to join in?
Meeting my aunts, uncles and some of my cousins – and future babysitters??

My Mom (a.k.a. Grandma Ryan) has been a huge help! She’s been coming by each day to make sure I’m OK — and of course to get a little love time in with Brooklyn! Thanks mom!!
I’m going to try to do a more official newborn shoot with Brooklyn soon. I’m thoroughly enjoying all the time I get to spend with my new little love!

Can’t get enough of her!
Love all of the pictures!!
First, let me say that she is lovely!
Second, {this is a bit of a long story}…In Jan. I needed to make a hat for my daughter who was going on a pioneer trek. I chose Elvira by Alyssa Heath. But I specifically chose that pattern because of a beautiful hat I saw in the finished projects. I recognized the little girl from the project photos in one of your photos above. Sure enough, I checked Rav… and it’s your Sister’s project!! Small world, huh!
Anyway, tell Betsy thank you for the inspiration and the photos. My daughter loved her Elvira hat. {and I might have bough enough Madelinetosh to make 2 more}
There is an Aunt missing from the pictures :( I cannot wait to meet my beautiful little neice.
Congratulations! She is so beautiful! So great to see all the love in each person’s eyes from deep in their heart to welcome her to the family! So happy for all of you!
She’s beautiful!! Enjoy every minute, I can’t believe my first little girl will be 18 next month :(!!
Just beautiful! We also received a knitted hat in the hospital, I think our nurse said her mom likes to make them for new babies. I think you have a great idea having others join in on knitting even more!
awwwww….babies bring so much happiness to a family! You’re all glowing! So much fun to see. Enjoy this special time! She’s beautiful!
You all are so blessed to have such beautiful angel! Pictures speak full of LOVE. Congratulations!
Congratulations, Matt and Kara. Brooklyn Paige is precious. The only problem is that I don’t think she is going to get enough attention!! God’s blessings to all of you.
