Work in Progress: Mystic Comfort

We have some friends who recently moved into a beautiful new home. We’re so happy for them, so I wanted to knit them a house warming gift.  Yes, an afghan would be quite lovely but I have to be honest and tell you that I just didn’t think I had the time. So a store-bought afghan will be given along with this handknit Mystic Comfort Pillow….just as soon as I finish it!  For now the front is done and every time I knit this pattern I fall in love with it.  Katie did such a good job on it.

The perfect 12×22 pillow insert can be found on Amazon for this pillow, and for a good price!

I am working on this in Malabrigo Arroyo on size 7 needles. Ravelry project here, Pattern available here.

  1. My sweet daughter knitted this for me for my birthday last year. She recovered a not so pretty pillow and it is now my favorite on my bed. The pattern was fun to knit in her opinion and it is just beautiful! It was fun to see a post about it again. We highly recommend this pattern!

  2. Loved knitting this, and was never able to find the right insert. Thanks for the link- just ordered it!
