Double Trouble

August 02, 2013 10 Comments

When knitting with two strands together I find that my two balls of yarn can get out of control.  The yarn gets tangled and flies all over the room. So, I decided to wind them together so that I am pulling off of one ball.  Works like a dream.1 2 Carefully place both skeins on the winder one on top of the other and pull both ends at the same time.  They do not get tangled while winding the ball and it makes knitting a lot cleaner.  Maybe you already knew this, but I thought it was a great idea and wanted to share it with you. doubleI hope you have a wonderful relaxing weekend, knitting.

I used to place each ball in its own small bowl at my feet and it worked for me, must try your technique.
