Dressage: Knit ALong Progress

Posted on

This knit along might be producing my most favorite knit. I have a new found love for reverse stockinette and of course cables are always a good thing, in my opinion. 192A3614 I am working on Dressage, but I've made some edits to the original -- most noticeably the collar. I don't plan to make the collar as shown in the pattern. Although I think it's lovely I would rather just a plain crew neck and think I'll wear it more this way. 192A3648 I really really love how the cables come down the shoulder shaping and come together on the sides. 192A3625            192A3630 192A3645 I've been dragging this knit into the car every place we go, even a 10 minute car ride is quality knitting time. I estimate I'm about 75% done so I should have plenty of time to finish before the end of our knitalong.  I'm really motivated to finish it so I can wear it. I can't wait! The pattern is easy to read and easy to knit so I'm going to highly recommend the pattern!

This is just gorgeous. I absolutely LOVE the placement and flow of the cables. I just can’t stop looking at how beautiful it is. Can’t wait to see it modeled.

Lovely! I love purple (you can see that in my blog, one cardigan and one tunic soon ready in this color) so the choice of color is one reason why I like your Dressage. Another is the cables meeting each other in the sides. No seems anywhere?
