Nordic Trail will be a perfect christmas present! Thanks for getting me started.
What luck! I’m already doing one sweater KAL, but that project is almost done. I printed the pattern for my sister’s Christmas gift (Malpeque: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/malpeque) just this morning and was wondering to myself if you guys would be doing the KAL again! I wish I could knit with you in person too!
Even though we are coming into opposite seasons (we are heading into Spring here in South Africa), I would still love to KAL with you. I am going to try “Something Silver”, this is the Ravelry link to the pattern: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/something-silver
This looks like a fun KAL especially with Fall around the corner.
What perfect timing—I started working out the math for a sweater vest this morning! My husband wants a sweater that looks like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/160935058063?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_457wt1161
I am using “Analog” (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/analog) for stitch counts and sizing while I “fake it ’til I make it” on the rest, haha! I’ll try to take good notes and publish them. Rav ID: nmujillybean
Casting on “Ice Cream Sundae” for Nora. Pattern here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ice-cream-sundae-3
So excited! Just got back from Creative Fibers with great yarn and buttons.
I love that pattern! If I ever have a girl i’ll be sure to knit that cute top!!
[…] Have a peachy day and don’t forget to sign up for the Nice & Knitalong! […]
Hi, I love Nordic Trail and will give it a whirl. I have been in a knitting rut lately and I’m hoping this KAL will end it! RAV name: protoknits
Hi my name is Karen. I really like the Dressage!!
I am a beginner knitter. I have been working on an entrelac baby blanket for a friend, and I feel like my speed and tension has been getting better. I’m interested in the Dressage and Nidden, patterns, but not sure if they are out of my league? My Mum is great at knitting, so I can always ask her for help, but happy to take advice on which one would be easier for me to go with.
[…] You have until tomorrow night at midnight (eastern standard time) to enter our giveaway and join our knit along! […]

So I won’t lose this post I’m reporting to my blog. I’m excited to knit the Nordic trail!
I think I’ll use this opportunity to pick up a cardigan I started back in January. I only have the sleeves done, so thats only partly cheating, right?? I would love to get it finished for fall and think this will motivate me to do so.

I like Parlan. I love the texture.
Very excited to join you very talented ladies! I just purchased Windswept (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/windswept-4) by Tin Can Knits. Excellent idea to get started on some Christmas knitting. I do handmade Christmas only and I will need to encouragement to get started! Looking forward to what others will complete.

Dressage will be easier in my opinion! It looks like other users on Ravelry rate Dressage easier than Nidden as well. I will be knitting Dressage for the knitalong too so if you have any questions you can always feel free to email me :) I think you’ll be just fine and should give it a try!
I was hoping to get started on Honey by Amy Miller shortly, so why not join your KAL? Still need to get a hold of the right size needles but then I’ll be in!

I need to get on to cardigans and away from shawls, so thanks for the prompting. I think i will be knitting Panel Jacket by Carol Lapin.
I’ll be knitting the rocky coast cardigan! Excited to get started!
I hope it’s not too late to join! I cast on last night for my first adult sweater – Jane Richmond’s Oatmeal Pullover in Rowanspun Chunky.
[…] Jacket by Carol Lapin. Joining with Nice and Knit for this one. Casting on today with my Malabrigo that has aged in the stash for a few […]

Needles at the ready! I am in with Nordic Trail. Thanks! In the past I have been told that when your father traveled, I just sat in a chair and knit anyway, so I need to fulfill that stereotype. ;-)
