We are giving away a $25.00 gift card!  Enjoy the new Starbucks Red Cups! The streets of NYCity are loaded with Starbucks. They have just announced that they are buying Teavana so those will probably be popping up too. Knitting on the train ride in and out makes it a worthwhile trip!

Mmmm, unfortunately, there’s no starbucks near us! But it would make a great gift!
I’m thankful for my cozy, warm house on these chilly November days! Nothing better than knitting by the woodstove! ;)

I am thankful that my husband found a job. The extra money is nice, but it’s really more important that he’s getting out of the house and is more motivated.

I’m thankful for the friends who have come along side me over the past three years. They lifted me when I couldn’t stand, carried me when I could hardly walk, cheer me on while I finish school, the give me advice and direct me to the right path, they listen while I vent, show me love and respect, but most of all they have prayed countless prayers on my behalf. Without those who stood next to me, I surely would’ve fallen.

thankful for wonderful friends who put up with my silliness and seriousness; the cutest puppies in the world who make me smile when he accidentally falls off the bed when trying to cuddle and when she is so excited I’m up that despite being 15 she bounces like an 18-month-old puppy; and family.

I am a mom, nurse, wife, blogger, shopper, and crafter I am thankful for STARBUCKS…Just kidding, kind of! This may seem crazy, but I am finally to a great place in life. I am thankful for all of the blessings I have, but I am also thankful for all the hardships, trials, setbacks, unanswered prayers, and struggles I have had. Without all of them I wouldn’t be able to appreciate just how amazing my little boy has turned out to be, how lucky I am to be married to my prince charming, or the amazing opportunities I have had as a nurse to touch hearts! god bless! Great comment idea! I keep a daily gratitude journal of five things that I’m grateful for each day and it really helps keep my mood up.

Today’s list of things I’m grateful for: 1. The many beautiful sunrises of late. 2. That it’s Friday! 3. That my job’s challenges have evened out to a manageable, but still stimulating, level. 4. That I have another month to finish knitting my grandmother’s birthday scarf. 5. That I have a loving husband to go home to after a long workday.
