Wool & Honey : The Sleeping Bear Yarn Club

Posted on

If you haven't heard of Wool & Honey, a stunning yarn shop located up in Cedar, MI, we strongly suggest you check them out. We first ran across them on Instagram and because of their beautiful location, classy branding, and inspiring photos we fell in love.  Then we discovered that they're 2 sisters running a fiber business, so naturally they MUST be pretty awesome. ;) WH_Final But the real reason we want you to check them out is for their Sleeping Bear Yarn Club. We were really delighted but most of all, honored when they asked us to create a custom colorway specifically for the members of their Sleeping Bear Yarn Club.  As a club member you can elect for a 3, 6 or 12 month membership which gets you a skein of yarn each month for the membership term along with a pattern, custom stitch marker and some other goodies, too! Next month features our hand-dyed custom color. Meet Isadore: a soft grayish lilac color we created for club members.  Want in on the club? You can!  They're accepting orders through April 15th (just two more days!) so buzz on over there and sign up and your first club color will be sweet Isadore for May delivery. Isadore Lilac Comp   Inspired by the lilacs that grow near them on the shores of Lake Michigan this color was a natural fit for us since it's so similar to the lilacs we have here in CT. I love lilacs because they're one of the signs that Spring is here to stay. No like tulips or daffodils that are just a tease of spring but actual proof that spring is HERE and maybe even more promising, is that summer is just around the corner.  Their fragrance puts a little extra pep in my step so just last year I planted 3 new Lilac trees so that I cut an abundance of blooms and place them in every corner of the house to enjoy them.  Just a few more weeks until we can enjoy their blooms ~ just in time for your yarn to arrive. isadore lilac fb
