I learned to knit whan I was a CampFire Girl…so I have been knitting for over 50 years. I share my love of knitting with one of my daughters. We have a great time together yarn shopping and sharing ideas. We both enjoy your blog.

I’ve been knitting for about four years now. I learned in high school and in the past year or two I’ve really gotten into it!
…the bowls are gorgeous and awesome!

I’ve been crocheting since I was 7 years old. I haven’t learned how to knit yet, but maybe Melinda can teach me sometime. I hear she is a great teacher!!

My best friend taught me how to knit. She might regret it when I show up at any hour with a knitting emergency, but I am loving it!

I have never knitted a stitch in my life…BUT I’ve seen that you hooked your sisters – the photographer/nurse and Creative Memories consultant who share the same interests as me. So maybe I’ll have to try it sometime! Besides I’d love a yarn bowl created by your dad. I love his pottery. Keep up the good work on your blog.

I have been knitting since the weekend of Feburary 12th… when i was out in Rockville for Lydia’s wedding! I seen your blog and decided I found my new hobby! We stayed at Mark and Ashley Lanz’s and she helped me get started! Even sent me home with needles and yarn! I bought a book, did some youtube video watching and now I’m working on a scarf!! An easy beginner scarf, but a scarf! So thanks to you Rockville girls, my 15 month old rules the house during the day…because I’m knitting! ;)

I am a self-taught knitter of omg 13 years or so. I read several books and with a lot of trial and error I was knitting! For some reason the process is more important than the product for me. Also when I was pregnant with my son in 2009 I totally lost my mojo for 2 1/2 yrs. Happy to say I recently welcomed it back!

These remind of beautiful bowls that I saw in Japan! I should have snapped them up when I saw them. I am glad to know that they are available in the USA.

I have been knitting maybe 5 years but still consider my self a beginner as there are so many things I don’t know how to do as yet, still learning! Knitting is my stress buster the more I knit the more I learn! I have lots of knitting tools but do not have a yarn bowl but these are beautful!

Your blog is beautiful and I love your photographs! Thanks for leaving a comment with me on my blog… now I found you guys! Taught myself to knit in the hot summer of Atlanta randomly 1 1/2 years ago making drink coasters… weird I know. I grew up in Chicago loving the cold and had always wanted to learn. Now I can knit wear for all seasons! :)

Been knitting on/off for 20+ years. My Mom taught me when I was about 8-10 years old. She was an excellent knitter. She often did custom projects for clients. I have fond memories of her knitting in the living room, in the car, on vacation…you name it! And the apple don’t fall far from the tree!

I still have the B&W Jack Frost pattern booklet, circa 1965, that she used to knit our mittens. As well as two sweaters that she made me that I aspire to fit into again.

I have all her needles and bits of yarn that I used when I was 8-10 years old. She died 5 years ago so it’s great to have this connection to her….
